The True-Tie track system is an integrated, pre-gauged set of tie plates made from injection molded, UV resistant copolymer polypropylene. This system makes it possible to produce properly gauged, spaced, and canted track sections with no special tooling. Tie plate screws (will accept #8 or #10) are molded at the correct angle, giving ideal alignment and ensuring accurate rail contact.

After track is assembled, the center gauge section can be removed with a light chisel tap. The rail end spacers can then be snapped off to set the proper gap between rail ends. Correct thickness gauges are provided for both Aluminum and Steel Rail.
